Somebody once said something about big baits catching big fish. Enter the Ocho. We've long been asked for a true 8 inch bait with a large vibratory profile. We started with the body of our Solid7 and scaled it up, while also sizing the boot up to create the kick we wanted.
Because details matter, we also added scales, pectoral fins and a gill plate to finish out the look. What we ended up with was a bait that looks good.....and kills. We're running these on the same style jig head as the Solid7 but we've beefed the hooks up to a 9/0 dagger. These heads were designed to keep big fish pinned.
We like running this bait as light as a 1oz tin head on up through 2+ ounces when the scenario calls for it. Pull em as slow as you can, that tail will keep thumping. And don't worry about those heavy currents, your bait won't wash out or roll.
Just like our other baits, we're offering you as many colors as possible. With this being a bigger bait, we have more options on how we can pour them. Stay tuned, we'll have all kinds of fun things coming.
